And she figured out how to take selfies...
She is down two baby teeth now!
Soccer
Rory started playing community soccer this year. I was apprehensive to put her in because she is so small and girly. I was worried it wouldn't be what she was expecting and that she would be out of her element. I was wrong. I admit it. She loved it and we loved watching:
Running drills.
Scoring a goal!
And another one.
She loved celebrating all her goals!
Working on her goalie skills.
She had the best coach!
Go Rockets!
Dance
This was Rory's third year in dance. This year she studied ballet, tap and jazz.
Ready for her jazz routine at recital.
It was a long complicated routine for her age level and she worked so hard practicing at home.
She rocked it!
She crushed it in her ballet routine too.
It was so beautiful and she was so elegant!
Rory's school did a jump rope a ton to raise money for the heart and stroke foundation. This charity is very near and dear to my heart and to my family so we did our best to raise money for it. Rory raised over $170! And won a soccer ball as a prize!
Thank you again to all the family that sponsored her!
June is birthday month for this kid! This year she wanted a Tinkerbell party. After some brainstorming, we decided on an "Off to Neverland" theme.
The sign says:
"The second star to the right and straight on 'til morning. Off to Neverland!"
Present table
Food table
snail wraps
acorn cookies
pixie dust craft
Treasure hunt clues
Pirate booty!
To keep the kids from beating each other with the swords, we tried to calm things down until parents showed up with a movie. Might have saved a few lives...
On Rory's actual birthday we surprised her with a trip to Calaway Park.
Rory is all done Kindergarten now! She had a great year with awesome friends and an amazing teacher!
We will miss you Mme Micheline! Hopefully Sophie and Jase will get to have you too!
I can't believe how quickly this girl has grown. She used to be my tiny premie tree frog and now she is so big! She is vibrant and creative and everyones friend. I can't wait to watch her continue to grow and try new things. Love you Miss A!!!
